Demond Spikes is an author/poet that is currently incarcerated. Since his incarceration he started a poetry program called "Poetic Justice" which give inmates a creative outlet which helps to cope with the day to day life of living behind bars.

 

We are currently preparing for his appeal and are confident that the facts will exonerate him when given a new trial. In the meantime, Demond has been using his time inside to better himself, using creative writing as a tool to rise above his current situation.
